The manufacturing sector has been deriving benefits from predictive analytics – as same improves the operational efficiencies and reduce disruptions in the supply chains . The AI/ ML algorithms are developed and loaded with terabytes of data gathered from IOT devices on factory floors to study behavioural patterns of the machinery and equipment to detect anomalies well in advance. The sales function are making optimum use of internal and external data to predict the demand cycles and accordingly the supplies are getting managed better.

It has been proven time and again that insights from machine learning algorithms provide patterns that lead to better efficiency during production processes - as assets are managed better and the production downtime is minimized.
